Chinese Vice President Visits Havana Health Center
Havana, Jun 6. -Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping, who is on an official visit to Cuba, will visit a polyclinic in the Havana neighborhood of Vedado on Monday to observe Cuban health care achievements.
According to his agenda, Xi, who arrived in Havana on June 4, will meet with authorities, physicians and nurses at the clinic.
The Chinese vice president was received on Sunday by President Raul Castro and attended the signing of 13 agreements in different areas of common interest.
During their meeting, the two leaders discussed the excellent state of bilateral relations and other international issues.
Cuba and China are implementing important cooperation projects in telecommunications, transportation, biotechnology and energy. (Prensa Latina)
