European Meeting Establishes Solidarity with Cuba Sofia, May 14. -Almost a hundred representatives of organizations of Friendship with Cuba today confirmed their attendance to the XV European Meeting of Solidarity with the Caribbean island in a counteroffensive to the crusade of misinformation broken out from the West.

Participants at the forum to be held on 15 and 16 this month in the Bulgarian capital, represent the wide and diverse solidarity movement in over twenty countries of the old continent, as stated by Prensa Latina.

Among the participants already confirmed are European activists with many yearsâ�Ö experience in solidarity with the Mayor of the West Indies, as Raul Martinez, from the State Coordinator of Solidarity in Spain; Rob Miller, from the campaign in the UK; Simon McGuinness, from Cuba Support Group , from Ireland; and Jacques Milhas, leading the French delegation.

The European meetings are held every two years since the first one in 1985. The former took place in Italy.

The Bulgarian appointment takes place in the midst of preparations for the celebration of an ancient tradition, the Day of Slavic Writing (1115 years), that is the party of culture.(Prensa Latina)
