USA: Tornadoes Kill 45Washington, Apr 19. -Dozens of tornadoes hit 14 southern U.S. states in the last few days, killing 45 and causing considerable damage.

The ABC News network reported that more than 243 tornadoes affected areas from Oklahoma to Virginia in recent days.

North Carolina has been the most affected state, with a death toll of 23.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a warning that storms in the central-northern United States will be worse and could cause flooding.

The northern area of the Red River, located between east of North Dakota and northeastern Minnesota, is most likely to suffer the coming disasters.

Areas in eastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey and southern New York are on alert for possible floods.

The warning includes urban areas such as Fargo, Grand Forks, San Pablo, Davenport, Rock Island, Sioux Falls and Huron. (Prensa Latina)
