Cuba Hosts Ibero-Am Event on Gender, Communication
Havana, May 23. – Gender violence, sexuality, women's human rights, among other important issues, will be analyzed during the 10th Ibero-American Meeting on Gender and Communication, starting Wednesday through Friday in this capital.
The scientific agenda of the forum, which main issue is Media agenda and gender: paradoxes of hegemony, also includes masculinity studies, alternative media, publicity and public good messages, which will be discussed in panels, lectures and papers.
Members of the organizing committee stated that the works recognized and evaluated in regional meetings held in the country are part of the event's agenda.
Experts from Brazil, Bolivia, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Angola, the United States, and France are attending the event. An exhibition of nonsexist communication products with different technological means will be also on the list.(Prensa Latina)
