Cuban National Soccer Team to Bolivia

Cuban National Soccer Team to Bolivia Havana, Feb 28. – The Cuban national soccer team will travel to Bolivia Monday to meet the Bolivian team in a friendly match in the city of Cochabamba on Wednesday.

This will be the first match between these two teams. Cuba will be playing in Bolivia after two defeats in Jamaica: 0-1 in the National Stadium of Kingston and 0-3 at the Montego Bay Sports Complex last week.

The Felix Capriles Stadium -located at 2,558 meters (8,392 feet) over sea level- will be the venue of the match, which will be useful for both teams as training for their respective commitments for 2012.

Cuba is getting ready for the North, Central American and Caribbean Confederation (Concacaf) Pre-Olympic Tournament in several cities of the US from March 22 to April 2.

That is why the Cuban team has most players less than 23 years of age in its list.

Differently from the Cuban team, Bolivia has no age limit, getting ready for the South American classification stage for the 2014 World Soccer Cup in Brazil.(Prensa Latina)
