International Tourism Fair Promotes Bolivian DestinationsLa Paz, March 27. -The 15th International Travel Fair of Bolivia is a tool to promote our destination, which is diverse and different from others, the president of that event, Martin Cariaga, said.
In statements to Prensa Latina, Cariaga said that this forum has grown over its 15 years, and today is recognized by the World Tourism Organisation.

For her part, the director of tourism promotion of local self-government in La Paz, Maria Teresa Chavez, said the fair is growing every year with the presence of more businessmen and countries.

On the significance of the event to the home region of the Bolivian government, Chavez said that it is a unique space to attract more tourist traffic, mainly because this department is a geographic and cultural synthesis of Bolivia.

Among the participating countries and foreign companies are the Institutes of Tourism of Venezuela and Brazil, and other companies in Panama, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Chile and Peru.

The Fair, which will end on Mar 27, is the most important event of the tourist industry in Bolivia. (Prensa Latina)
