Ibero-American Anthropology Congress Ends

Ibero-American Anthropology Congress EndsHavana, Mar 18. -The 2nd Ibero-American Congress Anthropology, Anthropos 2011, concludes Friday in this capital after four days of debates on challenges for this science in the 21st century.

About 160 delegates from Latin America, Europe and Asia were attending the event.

Issues such as anthropology and gender, nutritional and food anthropology, linguistic anthropology and identity, anthropology and religion, and primatology have been discussed during this forum.

As part of Anthropos 2011, parallel events include the 11th Jesus Montane Symposium on Physical Anthropology, the 7th Congress on Primates as National Heritage, the 4th Colloquium Primates through the Caribbean, and the 4th Colloquium on Anthropology. (Prensa Latina)
