UK Highlights Potentials in Relations with Cuba
Havana, Mar 15. – The head of the department for Mexico, Cuba, and Central America of the British Foreign Ministry, Matthew Phillips, highlighted the existing potentials for the strengthening of links with Cuba, announced Havana's diplomatic sources on Thursday.
According to www.cubaminrex.cu website of the Foreign Affairs Ministry (Minrex), Phillips told Cuban deputy Foreign Minister Dagoberto Rodriguez about the interest of continuing developing bilateral links after the resumption of official cooperation last July.
The meeting with Rodriguez and pro-temporal director of Europe in Minrex Elio Rodriguez was aimed at discussing the key topics of the bilateral agenda.
The parties expressed the willingness of strengthening links in the political, economic, and commercial fields.
The visit of the British diplomat also includes meetings with representatives of the ministries of Interior, Science, Technology and Environment, Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment.(Prensa Latina)
