UNESCO Good Will Ambassadors to Meet in Paris
Paris, Sep 9. -UNESCO good will ambassadors, including US Forest Whitaker, French musician Jean Michel Jarre and Argentinian singer Susana Rinaldi will meet in Paris on Monday, September 12.The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization said that the objective of the meeting is to review a series of current events like post-conflict and post-disaster situations.
Princess Firval of Jordan and Indian philanthropist Madanjeet Singh and Spanish scientist and sociologist Kitin Muniz will also attend the meeting.
UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova will open the meeting, expected to be attended by another large group of good will ambassadors to exchange views on the Follow up Report on Education for All Worldwide 2011.
Issues to be discussed also include the promotion of initiatives for the youth, and commitments to peace and dialogue. (Prensa Latina)
