International Festival Circuba 2011 StartsHavana, Aug 8 .- At least 110 artists from 14 countries will gather here until August 14 at the International Festival Circuba 2011.

Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba top the list of countries in the Americas with the highest representation, followed by Russia, Spain, China, Vietnam and United States. El Salvador and Ghana participate in the festival for the first time.

Circuba 2011 will be inaugurated at the Karl Marx theatre, with the performance of national and foreign artists.

As part of the programme of the event will span the contest of clowns Erdwin Fernández In Memoriam – in homage to one of the greats of that modality in the island – the capital cinema Astral, where a jury of five members will be responsible the selection of the winning show.

Artists participating in Circuba may choose to six major, independent of popularity Awards. The jury of the critique and image will be chaired by the Brazilian actor Marcos Frota.
