New Cuban Political Bureau to Be Elected Tuesday

Havana, Apr 19. -The first plenary meeting of the new Cuban Communist Party´s Central Committee will elect on Tuesday its Political Bureau and Secretariat before the Party´s 6th Congress comes to a close.

The membership of these two leading bodies of the Party will be made public during the closing ceremony of the Congress that debated and passed during three days the country´s new economic and social policy guidelines.

The meeting´s 1,000 delegates also approved three resolutions and one agreement, and voted to elect the members of the Party´s Central Committee. (Prensa Latina)
