Cuba, USA Resume Direct Mail Service
Havana, Apr 5. -Cuba´s Post Office informed it will resume direct mail service between the United States and Cuba starting Wednesday.
The decision responds to the easing of security measures announced by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration for member countries of the Universal Postal Union, Granma newspaper reported.
The letters received at the offices of Cuba´s Post Office and those mailed by the population should weigh less than 500 grams, the report specified.
Packages still can not be sent to the United States until further notice. (Prensa Latina)
