To qualify for the semifinals, the Cuban team should beat Costa Rica and Haiti, since Canada seems to have a better team.

Group B starts on Thursday, with the participation of the national teams of the United States, Mexico, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, with the two first teams more likely toqualify.

The tournament will grant two tickets for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, UK, scheduled from July 27 to August 12, so it will be necessary to be a finalist to get the Olympic ticket.

Cuba has never taken part in the Olympic Games or a World Championship in this sport, so a good performance here would be historical. (Prensa Latina)
