The Tianhe-1A, which has 2.57 petaflops, which is 2.57 billion operations per second, is faster than the U.S.-made Jaguar, which has 1.75 petaflops.

The third fastest computer is another Chinese model, the Nebulae, with 1.27 petaflops.

The Tianhe-1A, which means Milky Way in Chinese, is housed at the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin and was designed by the National University of Defense Technology.
