Port of Spain, Jul 6 .-A Cuban delegation will represent Cuba in the Trade and Investment Convention of Trinidad and Tobago (TIC 2018), an event that begins in this capital.

 

The group of experts will be headed by the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, Rubén Ramos and has representatives of 19 national companies, along with 30 other officials.

According to reports from the site Loop Trinidad and Tobago, the specialists of that committee represent sectors such as the food and beverage industry, biotechnology, chemistry, sugar production, construction, public health, tourism, culture, science and technology, telecommunications, and consumer goods.

In addition, the Cuban Mission will have a permanent position in TIC and is expected to expand economic and commercial ties with Trinidad and Tobago, the publication added.

The website highlighted the visit program includes meetings with government authorities and private companies, in addition to the seminar: ‘Cuba: New Business Opportunities.’

It will serve as a framework for the launch in Trinidad and Tobago of the portfolio of foreign investment opportunities and the export offer of the different Cuban items.  (Prensa Latina)
