Raul Castro Heads Cuban Delegation to CELAC
Caracas, Dec 2. – President Raul Castro heads the Cuban delegation to the Third Summit of Latin America and the Caribbean (CELAC) that will open its doors in Venezuela on Friday with the participation of 33 countries.
The meeting will officially found the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) which is a genuine regional space because it does not envisage United States and Canada.
Apart from Raul Castro, the delegation is comprised of vice president of the Council of Ministers Ricardo Cabrisas, foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez and the minister of foreign trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca, emphasized Granma newspaper.
Celac is considered an institutional event of great repercussion in this hemisphere in the last century.(Prensa Latina)
