HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 9. – The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, offered an interview on Sunday to renowned Venezuelan journalists Vanessa Davis, Andres Izarra, Walter Martinez and Mario Silva.
Some of the topics analyzed by Fidel included the US and Israeli military threats against the Iran, the danger of a nuclear war, the role of the big world powers, the conflict between Venezuela and Colombia, current environmental challenges and the case of the five Cuban antiterrorists unjustly imprisoned in the United States, among many others.
The interview will be broadcast by Cuban television on Monday at 6:00 p.m. during the Round Table program. Telesur and Venezolana de Television will also broadcast the meeting.(acn)
