Perdomo informed the school will be officially opened next week, but a large group of children are already in the facility.
The students in a first stage will receive pedagogical teaching from the kindergarten to the secondary level.
The Minister of Education, Ena Elsa Velazquez, recently visited the center, and was interested in the training of the staff that will teach boarding and and semi-boarding students.
The Minister visited the places, its outdoors, its classrooms and areas where the children will receive special attention for their physical and psychological rehabilitation, and the subsequent incorporation into society.

The general cost of the work exceeds 6,400 000 million Cuban pesos, built with the greatest care by the builders, with a view to build a beautiful school to allow a healthy and happy rehabilitation to these infants protected by the Revolution. (Prensa Latina)
