In his opinion, participating in this event is a very important opportunity as ‘we are able to show everything that is done in our country and, in some way, we are showing Cuban talent, in terms of craftspersonship.
In this regard, he referred to the collection ‘A punto y ganchillo,’ exhibited at Expoartesanias.
Rodriguez stressed that Cuban handicrafts are distinguished by their exclusivity, and the traditional techniques of yesteryear used. ‘Everything we bring here comes as a cultural heritage, adapting it to new market conditions and new fashion trends,’ he explained. (Latin Press)
