Cuba Is an Attractive Destination for Visitors
Havana, Aug 13.- With its favorable climate, beaches, colonial architecture, distinct cultural history and varied tourist offers, Cuba continues to be an attractive destination for tourists.
This opinion is corroborated by the arrival of more than 1.59 millions travelers during the first half of this year, according to a report released by the National Bureau of Statistics and Information (ONEI) on Monday.
The ONEI reported that Canada is the first outbound market to Cuba with 183,812 people in that period, followed by the UK, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Colombia, Russia and France.
Cuba has more than 60,000 hotel rooms across the country and last year closed with 2.8 million visitors.
As part of the development of the tourism industry, Cuba offers the classic sun and sand tourism, but also other forms of tourism such as nature, culture, quality of life, business or recreational boating. (Prensa Latina)
