The forum, to run until Sunday, includes many activities in solidarity with Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez, sentenced after infiltrating terrorist groups operating with impunity against Cuba from Miami.
According to the organizers, the call strengthens the use of social networks to demand from Washington the unconditional and full release of the Cuban Five, as they are universally known.
Also on the agends is a march of some 15,000 women through some Holguin municipalities, including the participation of U.S. pacifist Cindy Sheehan.
After 13 years of imprisonment, the mobilization to demand of U.S. President Barack Obama the unconditional release of Gerardo, Ramon, Rene, Antonio and Fernando is growing worldwide.
Demonstrations, collection of signatures, letters sent to Obama, posters and messages in social networks are part of the methods used to support the cause of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters, sentenced in legal proceedings plagued with irregularities. (Prensa Latina)
