Interactive Forum on the Five in CubaHavana, Jun 17. -An interactive forum on the fight to free the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly imprisoned in the United States will be held June 24-25 on the Cuban radio website http://www.radiocubana.cu.

Under the slogan "We Fight by Telling the Truth," web surfers may obtain answers to their questions and comment on the harsh sentences being served by Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino and Fernando Gonzalez have been subjected to.

The Five, as they are universally known, were detained on September 12, 1998 for monitoring anti-Cuban terrorist groups based in Miami, and have been held in prison for more than 12 years after a trial full of irregularities that violated U.S. and international laws.

Meanwhile, terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, a fugitive from the Venezuelan justice system and responsible for the mid-air explosion of a Cuban airliner in October 1976 that killed all 73 people aboard, was acquitted in April in a court in El Paso, Texas.

The Five's real crime was to try to prevent that international criminal and other Miami-based

terrorists from continuing their actions.

Journalists and experts will respond to participants' questions in the forum "End the Injustice, Release Them Now," organized by the Union of Cuban Journalists in the special municipality of the Isle of Youth.
