Favorable balance for energy saving in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, May 19. – Some 168.4 megawatts per hour is the balance presented by Santa Cruz del Sur related to energy saving in 19 days of the current month, according to report by the energy council carried out in the government headquarters.

According to the information issued by the director of the Basic Electric Organization (OBE) in Santa Cruz del Sur, Juan Machado that from of the plan assigned for a day (120.3 megawatts) it is fulfilled by the territory on a 91 percent.

Likewise, the Local OBE summon all the clients to contribute to the energy saving, mainly in the residential area, taking into account that the summertime is close and fans and air conditioners  are more used because of the intense heat. (Rolando Canaura Sánchez / Radio Santa Cruz)
