Madrid, Apr. 22. -The final match for Copa del Rey (the King's Cup) between Real Madrid and Barcelona (1-0), became the most watched classic in Spanish history ever, with 12,849,000 television viewers.

The final match, played on Wednesday in Valencia, broke all previous records and reached a quota on screen time of 67.7 percent during the official 90 minutes.

During the aggregate time, when totaling the audiences of the Spanish Television (TVE) and TV3 of Cataluña, T.V. channels that transmitted the sports event, this figure rose to 14,172,000 T.V. viewers and a quota on screen time of 73 percent. (Prensa Latina)
