Education workers awarded in Santa Cruz del Sur

Santa Cruz del Sur, Dec 18. –An acknowledging and cultural activity to teachers and workers from the territory was developed in the new district 50th Anniversary, wit the participation of art instructors, commerce units, and the people from this community.

During the named “Teacher Night in the Neighbourhood“, the best teachers and workers from the Education Sector were awarded, and it is necessary to stand out the work carried out by the labour groups of the various teaching staffs making up the current educational system in Southern Camaguey.

The work done by the best cadres of the municipality was also acknowledged, being honoured Josefa Márquez and Elvia Pérez, head teachers of the primary schools: Tania la Guerrillera and José Martí respectively.

Children making up the Papalote ( kite) and Ismaelillo  cultural projects gave a great show, and offered to the audience excellent performances with students from the Ignacio Agramonte and José Martí Primary Schools, and students from the Camilo Cienfuegos High School. .
