Local Government seeks strategies for Socal and Economic Improvement

Santa Cruz del Sur, Oct 21. –With a profound analysis of the current year’s budget, among other important subjects, it was developed the meeting of the Administration Council, where representatives of the local government, the Communist Party and directives from state entities of Southern Camaguey were present.

It was proved that the territory has satisfactory results concerning the budget, although we still need to work in order to improve the planification, such as the incomes through the various commercial operations, the charging of taxes and the non-payment to the trasury.

The rendition of accounts of the delegates to their electors was a very debated subject, where there is still slowness in some of the members of the Administration Council and local leaders concerning the answers and posible solutions to the approaches set by the population.

Other matters as the Maternal and Infant Program, the labor reorganization, the cargo vehicles, the energy saving, and the local initiatives were examined and many approcahes came up so as to channel the work and to better up the results so far, which will allow the territory to progress on the economic and social improvement.
