Culture is present in young community from Santa Cruz del SurSanta Cruz del Sur, 31 ago.- The cultural expressions keep on reasserting its presence in the current summertime, which is already saying good bye. A great number of artists made it to the young community 50th Anniversary of the Ttriunph of the Revolution, in this territory, during more than an hour they conversed among the aplauses of a very happy audience.
The people living there were victims of the Paloma Hurricane. Thesepeople used to live in the coast area, a very vulnerable place for these kinds of natural meteor.

Matraca and Reguilete, a very funny couple of clowns, members of the children’s group Abracadabra, beautified and amused people with their jokes and magic.

The young lady Liyanet Martínez Anaya, music teacher at the Camilo Cienfuegos high school, sang the Cómo Olvidar, by Olga Tañón. And so she paved the way to Yusneiler Maldonado Frías, winner of the provincial contest Cuba qué Linda es Cuba. The little boy brought the song La Flor, by Polo Montañez.

Miguel Vázquez Pino, a very well known entertainer in Santa Cruz, announced the audience the Cuban food dishes present in the culinary contest, and took the opportunity to talk with a technician of the local museum about the importance of the visits to this institution.

The news arrived directly, Vázquez Pino presented Marlenis Cardoso González, as the winner of the culinary contest, her dish was made up of rice, pork meat, fried plantain and taro root, very delicious!.

The dance group Creación made a very interesting performance with its Yoruba Fantasy. The artists danced dressed in many colors, representing the various saints, where yellow, blue, green, red, and white clearly stood out.
