Workers from 62 Countries to March in Cuba on May Day

Havana, Apr 24.- More than 1,000 representatives from 162 union organizations, social movements and solidarity with Cuba groups from 62 countries in all continents have confirmed participation in the May Day parade.

Of them, 453 are union leaders from 50 nations and so far, the most represented workers are from Mexico, the United States and Costa Rica.

They will share these celebrations with the Cuban people on behalf of 27 solidarity organizations.

Participants in these celebrations will also demand an end to the U.S.-imposed economic, trade and financial blockade on Cuba and the prompt return home of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly held in U.S. prisons since 1998. (Prensa Latina)
