I love Cuba, Jim Belushi Says in Havana Havana, Mar 3. – Hit by a warm welcome during his stay in this capital, actor, musician and comedian Jim Belushi appreciated the Cuban cigar and praised the character and passion of the growers of this plant.

As very special guest of the XIV Habano Cigar Festival, he confessed his love for the handmade Premium cigars, in particular the Habanos from which he declared himself to be extremely fond of.

In an interview by Prensa Latina on his predilections about brands, he joked between the quality of the cigars and the beauty of Cuban women mentioning the Romeo and Juliet or the Cohiba Behike.

He reminded that since 1987 he smokes cigars, when shooting a movie and he smoked a cigar that made him feel dizzy, but he later managed to adapt to the pleasure.

He remarked his interest to return to this island as soon as possible, and was very interested in its people, above all in tobacco growers, whose anecdotes appreciated by a documentary from the also American journalist, James Suckling.

Indeed, the film Cigars: The Heart and Soul of Cuba was well received during its presentation on the final day of the Festival (February 27 to March 2 in the Conference Center of Havana).

Belushi shared with the models of the ceremony, journalists and cigar and wine experts and resumed his fondness for Cuba, its people, its passion and devotion.

During the awards ceremony and auction of the Year Cigar, he went to the stage and showed his histrionic and musical skills and played a piece with his harmonica and shared with the winners, he handed over the diplomas.

With a high-sounding phrase and broad sweep of the arms he said: I love Cuba and showed the broadest smile of gratitude for inviting him to the Festival.
