UN General Assembly Tackles Pakistan-US Tense Relations United Nations, Sep 27. – The tense relations between Pakistan and United States will be specially tackled at the UN speech the foreign minister of the South Asian nation Hina Rabbani Khar will address to the UN General Assembly.

A spokesman of the headquarters of the Pakistani Prime Minister Yuosuf Raza Gilani said that he talked with Khar by telephone and gave him instructions to put across Islamabad's point of view of the circumstances that generated the new breaking of relations between the two nations.

The Foreign Minister represents her country to the 66 General Assembly meeting after Gilani cancelled his participation because of the catastrophic floods in the southern province of Sindh.

The spokesman referred that the Prime Minister ordered Khar to go back to Pakistan after her speech to report in person about her meetings with US officials in New York.

On her return the FM will also attend the so-called All Parties Conference, convened by Gilani for next Thursday 29 aimed at evaluating, as a whole, the situation created by the US charge and its implications for the national security.(Prensa Latina)
