Energy saving acknowledge in Southern Camaguey

Santa Cruz del Sur, May 12. –Santa Cruz del Sur fulfils with the electricity consumption and demand parameters, this was published in the energy council, which was in session in this city.

Juan Machado, director of the Basic Electric Organization (OBE) in Southern Camagüey, explained that some 42 Megawatts have been saved so far in the current month in this municipality.

Likewise, he stated that despite the fulfilment, Cultisur Enterprise overdrew by 2.7 percent of its daily amount, which is why measures must be taken concerning the water pumping for the ponds, in order to decrease energy consumption.
