Fiji Govt Strengthen Co-op with Cuba

Suva, May 8. -Fijiâ�Ös interim Prime Minister Ratu Epeli Ganilau declared himself on Saturday in favor of strengthening cooperative relations with Cuba when meeting Cuban Ambassador José L. Roba

During the interview, held at the presidentâ�Ös offices, the parties identified medical care, education, sports and agriculture as possible fields for assistance, according to diplomatic sources.

Robaina stated that bilateral relations are satisfactory, but there are still huge reserves to strengthen both the multilateral and the bilateral areas.

Cuban Ambassador, who moved to Fiji from New Zealand, where he holds the same position, met separately with the ministers of Foreign Relations, Health, Education, Sports and Culture, to analyze in detail the prospects for cooperation.
