Delegates from 22 Countries Discuss Global Situation in Cuba

Havana, Apr 27.- More than 220 delegates from 22 countries are expected to discuss the world situation and its impact on nations during the Seminar on International Relations (ISRI 2012), on Apr.26-28. The meeting, organized every two years by the Higher Institute of International Relations of Cuba (ISRI), is being attended by speakers from Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Panama, Guatemala, the United States, Serbia, Mexico, Austria, Croatia and Russia.

The program of the event, with International Relations in a Changing World as main topic, includes work in nine panels to discuss the crisis of Capitalism, human migrations and the prospects of pro-integration processes, among other issues of interest.

Member of the Organizing Committee Nidia Alfonso told Prensa Latina that the forum is aimed at researchers and specialists devoted to the study of international relations, including political scientists, sociologists, economists or experts in any other discipline.

She highlighted the inclusion of a panel devoted to improving professional training in international relations, and another for the participation of students from different Cuban and foreign universities. (Prensa Latina)
