Venezuelan Youths Run in Paraguay for Latin American Unity
Asuncion, Dec 13. -A group of young Venezuelans ran on Tuesday the penultimate stage of the kilometer race for the South American Union, which aims at taking the message of unity among all people of the region.The Motores por la Paz Foundation, boosted this initiative that began last November and will end on December 17 in Caracas, Venezuela, after running through 12 South American capitals, said to Prensa Latina Gerardo Garcia, coordinator of the project.
Garcia also said that through sports they want to bring the message of unity, mainly among all South American nations, because for the next year they attempt to extend this project to Central America and the Caribbean.
He assured that the mechanisms are given with the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas, the Union of South American Nations, the Southern Common Market and now the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, among others.
The coordinator of the race also said that it was an initiative of people that decided to run through South America. (Prensa Latina)
