Military Drills on National Defense Day

Havana, Dec 3. -Cuba on Saturday celebrates National Defense Day, with exercises on combat readiness, protection of top military officers and commands, and troop maneuvers.Military activities will be held until Sunday, and will be dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the landing of the expeditionary force on board the Granma yacht on December 2, 1956, an action that led to the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. It is also the day of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Juventud Rebelde newspaper reported.
