Paris, Sep 29. -The Cuba Si France Solidarity Association urged in Paris to free without preconditions Rene Gonzalez, one of the five Cuban anti-terrorists withheld more than 13 years in US prisons and now tied to a 3-year parole.Rene Gonzalez, a victim of unjust verdicts together with Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez and Ramon Labanino, will be released on October 7 after serving his jail term, but is forced to remain in The US another three years tied to supervised watch.
Cuba Si France exposed the verdict by Judge Joan A. Lenard of Florida's South District, who dismissed Gonzalez's February motion requesting his return to Cuba to reunite with his family, turning The US justice system into a milling machine pleasing vendettas with arbitrary decisions, stresses the text.
Withholding Rene another three years in Florida after serving his term behind bars is denying justice and is, above all, to expose his life to the vengeance of the anti-Cuba Mafia in Miami, adds the denounce.
The French organization reminds that Florida State is home to renown international terrorists walking free like Luis Posada Carriles.
Cuba Si France called on every friends of the cause of the Cuban Five to reinforce the international mobilization and urge The US to authorize Rene's return to his wife, children and family. (Prensa Latina)
