Habano Festival Expects Wide World AttendancHavana, Jan 20. -The organizers of the Habano Festival are expecting a wide world attendance for its 13th edition in February this year, with 1,000 people from 80 countries expected to attend and confirm the impact of Cuban tobacco in the world.

An official communiqué said the Festival will be held from Feburary 21 to 25 at the Havana Convention Center, closing the last day at PABEXPO.

Cuban brands such as Montecristo, Partagas and H. Upmann will be given a homage and present new formats.

Participants will be able to taste the new products, take part in chats, commercial fairs international seminars and other activities.

A tour of tobacco cigar factories is another feature of the 13th edition.

The 10th anniversary of the International Habano Sommelier Contest will be commemorated this year, testing the knowledge and abilities of the exhibitors of wines and tobacco cigars.

Also, a master class on how to twist a cigar will be attended by hundreds of people. A strong cultural link will be supplied by Cuban artists like Leo Brouwer -Latin Grammy Award winner in 2010- who will present foreign guests in his program. (Prensa Latina)
