Expectation over Leak on Iraq War
Washington, Oct 19. -Expectation grows Monday in the United States and abroad over the possible leak of about 400,000 secret documents of the U.S. Army on Iraq.
The Pentagon mobilized 120 people to assess the consequences of the Wikileaks' disclosure, with sources saying it could be the biggest leak of secret U.S. files, followed by the publication of another 15,000 documents on Afghanistan, it was revealed.
Wikileaks, rated as a non-profitable organization founded by human rights activists, journalists, and people in general, was criticized for disclosing "dirty linen" on the U.S. wars.
Australian journalist Julian Assange, founder of the organization, told The New York Times they do high-tech journalism research, just like espionage agencies do, nothing more or less. (Prensa Latina)
