Nobel Prize calls Obama to change US policy toward Latin AmericQuito, Oct 11. -The Nobel Peace Prize Adolfo Perez Esquivel warned here that the U.S. always acts in one form or another in the coups in Latin America, and called the U.S. president, Barack Obama, to change its regional policy.

"You have to be clear, because in Hoduras occurred coup attempt and unfortunately this phenomenon keeps repeating," Perez Esquivel warned.

Perez Esquivel also stated that it is important to reclaim the President Obama a change in its policies toward Latin America, but we must also ask why the USA continues to installing military bases throughout the continent.

Therefore we must strengthen the unity of the whole region and its democratic institutions, reiterated Perez Esquivel.

"We are here to defend the freedom and right of the people of both USA and Latin America," said Pérez Esquivel when he arrived in Ecuador, where he was received by Deputy Foreign Minister, Kintto Lucas.
