Brazil Beats Cuba in Volleyball World LeagueWarsaw, July 6. -The Brazilian men's team on Wednesday overcame a two-set disadvantage and defeated Cuba in an electrifying match in the Volleyball World League (FIVB) finals, in the city of Gdansk.

Defending champion Brazil was beaten in the first two sets 18-25, 21-25, however, it counterattacked in the next sets, winning 25-16, 30-28, and 15-12, respectively.

The match's best attackers were Brazilian Lucas Saatkamp and 17-year-old Cuban phenomenon and team captain Wilfredo Leon, each of whom scored 20 points.

With this result, Brazil added two points and placed second in the finals' group B, behind Russia (3), which previously defeated the United States 29-31, 25-16, 25-21, and 25-22.

On Thursday, Brazil will face the USA, while Cuba will play against Russia. (Prensa Latina)
