Japan: Earthquake Leaves 8 InjuredTokyo, Jun 30. -A 5.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Nagano prefecture and neighboring areas on Thursday, leaving eight people injured, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The quake´s epicenter was located in Nagano, and it hit at 08:16 local time. It was followed by a 5.1-magnitude aftershock five minutes later.

Seven of the victims are people older that 40 years and the other is a girl, police said.
