Belarusian President Stressed Cooperation with Cuba Minsk, Jan 5 .- President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stressed the high level of dialogue and cooperation with Cuba, in a message of congratulations on the 56th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, released today by the official press.

Lukashenko stressed the strength and warmth of traditional and friendly Belarusian-Cuban relations, which each year gain new qualitative contours, says the letter addressed to Cuban President Raul Castro, on the occasion of the national holiday for the Liberation Day on January 1st, 1959.

It is gratifying to note the activation of political dialogue between our countires, the mutual support in defense of the national interests and the close cooperation in international organizations, stressed the President.

Likewise, he recognized the revival of the dynamics of bilateral economic and commerical ties.

Lukashenko expects the further expansion of the Belarusian-Cuban ties at the intergovernmental level and the full implementation of the existing potential between the two countries for the benefit of their peoples. (Prensa Latina)
