Bolivia: Unions Attend National People’s Congress
La Paz, Nov 24. -The Bolivian Workers' Center (COB) will hold on Thursday and Friday a National People's Congress that will be attended by member unions and other popular, professional and neighborhood organizations to devise a new agenda for the country.
The congress, aimed at analyzing Bolivia´s current political, economic and social situation, will present a final document as a contribution of workers to the national meeting, convened by President Evo Morales for December, Pedro Montes, COB leader, told the press.
All departmental, regional workers´ unions, national and departmental confederations and federations and other organizations will attend the Congress, Montes noted.
The COB leader underlined that this meeting seeks to find a solution for the current situation the country is suffering and devise a structural strategy. (Prensa Latina)
