Venezuela: 2012 Budget to Parliament´s Commission

Caracas, Nov 2. -The Venezuelan National Assembly´s Committee on Finance and Economic Development will assess on Wednesday the 2012 national budget and a draft law on debt, approved last Thursday at the plenary of the Parliament.Prior to this action, the members of the Commission will receive Ministers of Planning and Finances, Jorge Giordani; of Energy and Oil, Rafael Ramirez; and president of the Central Bank, Nelson Merendes, to examine the details of both bills.

The four sub commissions, created by the Commission, will study and analyze the two legislative documents focusing on issues such as Finances, Public Powers and other Bodies, and Social and Production Sectors.

Also, the Committee on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration of the Assembly will establish the Parliamentary Group of Friendship between Venezuela and Syria. (Prensa Latina)
