SELA to Assess LatAm, Caribbean Production Integration

Caracas, Oct 20. -The Latin American and Caribbean production integration will be debated on Thursday during a meeting that will assess the necessary strategies to contribute to strengthening industrialization and unification of the countries in this area.During the opening ceremony of the 37th Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council of SELA, its Permanent Secretary, ambassador Jose Riviera Banuet, noted the need to create production integration spaces that fight poverty and guarantee a sustainable development, based on social inclusion.

In that sense, Riviera Banuet underlined the importance of improving life conditions and creating new services for a population that is aging as well as optimizing domestic markets.

Prominent figures on this issue will attend the forum that will be in session in Thursday afternoon with the title, "Towards production integration in Latin America and the Caribbean". (Prensa Latina)
