Cuba, Angola Foster Friendship
Luanda, Sep 8. -The Cuban delegation to the upcoming Third African Meeting on Solidarity with Cuba will pay a courtesy visit on Wednesday to Domingo Coelho Da Cruz, president of the Angolan League of Friendship and Solidarity with the Peoples.
Kenia Serrano Puig, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, which fosters links with its Angolan counterpart, is leading the island's representation.
A meeting between the Cuban visitors and representatives from various Cuba solidarity organizations is set to be held in the headquarters of that organization.
According to the agenda, the Cuban delegation will meet on Friday with the National Assembly's Parliamentary Group.
The Cuba solidarity meeting will be held September 11-12 at the Talatona Hotel in the capital.
Issues as the struggle for the release of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in US jails, the blockade on Cuba, and the solidarity work in favor of that Caribbean country are issues to debate in the forum. (Prensa Latina)
