Pope Benedict XVI: I am Leaving Mexico with Unforgettable Experiences Silao, Mexico, Mar 26. – Pope Benedict XVI said he was leaving Mexico full of unforgettable experiences, in his last message before boarding the plane that is taking him to Cuba.

The Pope gave a brief speech during the farewell ceremony at the international airport of Guanajuato, and insisted on the concepts of peace and concord.

The Pope said goodbye to each of the members of the Mexican Executive, including President Felipe Calderon and his wife, Margarita Zavala.

Pope Benedict will turn 85 next month. He is the first Pope who takes an international tour with that age.
