Beijing, Nov 21. -Rescue teams recovered on Monday the last corpse of the five workers who died after a collapse in a coal mine in China´s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.At the moment of the accident, which occurred last Friday in a deposit located 350 kilometers northeast of Hohhot, 13 miners got trapped underground and one of them managed to escape. Then, seven of them were rescued alive.
The last living miner, rescued on Sunday, has eight fractures in his ribs, according to local authorities.
Four other corpses were recovered on Sunday.
Accidents in this type of deposit are common in China due to the failure of security measures. (Prensa Latina)
