Beijing, Nov 8. -The death toll after a coal mine collapsed in the central province of Henan reached 10 after two miners, who suffered serious injures, died on Tuesday.Three of the 53 miners, rescued after the accident and taken to the hospital, were in serious condition due to injuries suffered after the rock explosion in Qianqiu mine, in Sanmenxia city, on November 3.
Nearly 75 miners were working at the time of the accident; 14 of them managed to escape.
The last survivors of the disaster, preceded by a 2.9-degree quake, were rescued on Saturday. (Prensa Latina)
