Chinese Vice President Says Relations with Cuba Excellent Havana, Jun 8 .- Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping recognized the excellent state of relations between his country and Cuba, where he concluded an official visit that began on June 4. Xi extolled the results of bilateral projects in energy, telecommunications, transportation and biotechnology, and other areas.

During his stay in Cuba, Xi laid a wreath at the monument of national hero Jose Marti in Revolution Square, met with President Raul Castro and leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro, and attended the signing of agreements between the two countries, Gramma newspaper reported.

This visit is part of a Latin America tour by Xi that also includs Uruguay and Chile,
